Save Children

Do you love Children? Do you love playing with them?

Okay let me tell you an incident,

Few days back, I saw a little girl living near my place, walking with difficulty, she couldn't lift her leg properly. It looked as if she was in serious pain. Her physical appearance showed that she might be two years old. When I called her and examined her legs, I was shocked to see a wound in her calf. She tried to explain me with her childish talks. I didn't understand her baby talks. Then I asked my room mate , She explained me about the wound. As the child was very naughty, her mother punished by burning her calf. So the burn injury was intentionally executed. The child couldn't speak for herself. The most heartbreaking act is, her mother and grand mother are now playing with the child by scaring her with the ladle, and they are laughing while the child starts running on seeing the ladle, thinking that she is going to get injured again. Yesterday, the child's mother was complaining to my roommate that, her daughter was crying all night because of the burn injury and pus was coming out of the wound.

So can this be taken as child abuse?

Harming children and justifying those acts as Punishment for correcting the child's behavior is the most punishable crime. This kind of act is also a form of child abuse. I feel ashamed of myself, as I couldn't do anything in saving that child from this crime.

How can a human being be so much cruel? Such people show their power only on children, as they are fully aware that the children couldn't speak against them.

So people who are intentionally hurting your children, please do remember that there are lot of people who are not blessed with children. Save Children.
