Aalia thought that it was better to die than to experience this labor pain. Her mother-in-law was standing near her. She kept on consoling Aalia,"Don't worry Aalia, This pain is nothing when compared to the happiness you are going to get after seeing your baby!!!".
Aalia was relieved when she heard her baby crying. That was the best music she had heard. Doctor showed her the baby and told," Congrats Aalia!!! You have given birth to a beautiful girl baby!! She looks like you!!".
Aalia raised her hand and touched the baby with her finger. She could feel the softness and tenderness in the baby's skin.
Aalia was shifted to another room along with her baby. After few seconds, her son Hamid came running into the room. When Hamid was about to touch the baby, the nurse yelled," Hey go away!
Don't touch the baby. Wash your hands and then touch!". Hamid didn't expect this yelling. He looked at his mother for support but she didn't tell anything as she was tired.
After three days, Aalia was discharged. Hamid was very happy to see his mother again in the house.
He was happy that hereafter mother will wake him up, prepare food for him and take him to school.
Hamid loves his mother more than his father.
But his happiness didn't last. Aalia was very busy with the baby, so she didn't have time to take care of Hamid. Hamid felt bad and complained to his aunt Aabida about his mother's behavior.
When Hamid took his mom's mobile to play games, he got angry as soon as he saw the mobile's wallpaper. Then opened the gallery folder, he could see only his sister's photo everywhere.
He got frustrated. He kinda started hating his sister.
Before his sister's birth, he slept in between his mother and father but now his sister occupied the place which made him more sad and confused. He felt as if losing his place in the family!!
He started ignoring his sister, mother and father. He didn't eat properly, didn't do his homework, got lot of scoldings from his teacher.
His class teacher reported his behavior to Aalia and asked her to come to school.
Aalia was confused because Hamid was a very good student and he would never do any mistake in school.
Aalia went to the school. Hamid's teacher smiled at her and asked her to wait in her room. Aalia was waiting for her. Hamid's teacher told her that Hamid was acting rude in the class, he didn't answer the teachers properly when he was questioned about his homework, and he bet two of his classmates also. Aalia didn't know the reason for his sudden change.
Aalia returned to her home and called her sister Aabida about Hamid. Hearing this, Aabida suddenly remembered the day when Hamid complained to her about his parent's affection towards his sister. So Aabida told,"Aalia you are the reason for your son's misbehavior. you should be very careful while raising your children. You must give equal importance to both of your children. Or else this will be the consequence". Aalia felt guilty for her behavior. She was happy as she came to know about this at the earlier stage. She took a resolution to treat both the children equally!!!
Aalia started caring for Hamid as before and she started seeing her son totally changing and his reports from school were good!!!
