This is my first short story. Hope you will enjoy it.

Vasu could feel pain in his body. He is unable to breathe. But his lips kept on whispering," Kalpana Kalpana Kalpana". 

He cannot recognize the men beating him. All he could think of is only Kalpana!! One of those men,

bet him hardly in the head and suddenly everything went blank for Vasu.

FIVE MONTHS BACK:

Kalpana is the only daughter in her family. She is also the most pampered child in this world. Whatever she wishes, her mother and father will make it true. 

She wished to do higher studies and they allowed her to study.

In college she met Vasu. Vasu was her classmate. They both studied together, spent most of the time together. And at last fell in Love.

           

                              

Kalpana wanted to marry him. Kalpana was very confident that her parents will fulfill this wish for her. With that confidence she revealed her love for Vasu to her parents.

Her parents were shocked to hear her story. They made a quick research on Vasu's family background. And then they discovered that Vasu was from a poor family. They suddenly got uninterested in getting Kalpana married to Vasu.

They didn't tell Kalpana their decision. They just arranged a gang of Rowdies to threaten Vasu.

Vasu was bet by the rowdies. They kept on pestering him to forget Kalpana. But Vasu didn't change his heart. When one of them bet him in his head, he fainted.

Vasu's parents admitted him in the hospital. Doctor told them that Vasu lost his consciousness. 

Kalpana didn't get any call from Vasu. She waited for him for a long time. Her parents hid Vasu's condition from her. At last they succeeded in brain washing Kalpana. They convinced her that Vasu left her, He just used Kalpana for time pass.

Kalpana is married to a rich man.

No improvement in Vasu's condition.

                      Just think before hurting others. You may love your daughter but don't forget that he is also someone's son!!!
